All proceeds raised will help support two scholarships being set up in Kai's name; one for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute and the other for My Life My Power Organization.

Kai Messmer was a spark — the kind of person who lit up every room and left everyone a little better than he found them. As a track star and coach, he lived life in full stride, chasing dreams with grit, lifting others with humor, and leading with heart. Whether he was sprinting down a lane or mentoring the next generation of athletes, Kai believed in showing up, working hard, and taking care of people.

Kai didn’t just run races — he ran toward people. He offered second chances, kind words, tough love, and real friendship. He was fiercely loyal, brutally honest, and endlessly generous. His life, though far too short, was packed with purpose.

To honor his legacy, we’re launching the Kai Messmer Memorial Golf Tournament. Proceeds will fund two scholarships: one for a rising track star and one for a student who exemplifies Kai’s spirit — someone who shows character, compassion, leadership, and the kind of citizenship that makes the world better.

This isn’t just about keeping Kai’s memory alive — it’s about carrying his torch forward. Help us pass it on.
